Fire Pump Systems, fire pump system which is part of the water supply in the fire sprinkler system or fire hydrant which is supported by electricity, diesel or steam most companies in Indonesia fire pumps are supplied from PLN electricity or Diesel Independent (genset) company. the water source from the pump can come from underground water pipes, or static water sources (eg, tanks, reservoirs, lakes). The pump provides high pressure water flow to the sprinkler system and hose pipe (fire hose). A fire pump must be tested and registered by the authorities if in Indonesia usually by the disnaker or if the global level testing is carried out by a third party and listing agency, such as UL or FM global. The main code that regulates fire pump installations globally is the National Fire Protection Association NFPA 20 Standard for Stationary Fire Pump Installations.
